Vegan honey substitute: chicory and date syrup
If you want to move away from traditional honey, Vegan Nectar consists of chicory root fibre syrup and date syrup, blended in an 80-20 ratio, with a caramel-like flavour. It contains 43.8 grams of fibre per 100 grams, which can be considered the high-fibre category. It dissolves well in tea, coffee and, instead of dairy, in plant-based milk, and when baking it works as a honey substitute. You get it in a 480 g pack.
